Peru Cordillera Blanca, 20 Days

Practically the totality of the mountain range is protected by the Huascaran National Park, paradise of the snow-covered summits. The peaks like Alpamayo, Huandoy, Chakraraju, Santa Cruz, Tocllaraju, Chopicalqui, Pisco and Huascaran (the highest mountain of Peru) are located in Cordillera Blanca. In addition, there are 663 glaciers, 269 lakes, such as Llanganuco with its emerald-green waters, 42 rivers and 33 archaeological sites.

Day 1. Arrive Lima. If time allows, city tour in the afternoon.
Day 2. Journey to Huaraz.
Day 3. Churup trek. Huaraz.
Day 4. Huaraz – Ishinka BC.
Day 5. Climb Nevado Urus. BC.
Day 6. Climb Ishinka. BC.
Day 7. Reserve day.
Day 8. Ishinka BC - Tocllaraju High Camp.
Day 9. Climb Tocllaraju – return to Ishinka BC.
Day 10. Reserve day.
Day 11. Return to Huaraz.
Day 12. Resting day in Huaraz.
Day 13. Huaraz – Chopicalqui BC.
Day 14. BC – Morrena Camp.
Day 15. Climb Chopicalqui – Morrena Camp.

Day 17. Morrena Camp – BC – Huaraz.

Day 6. Mitucocha – Carhuac Pass – Carhuacocha.
Day 7. Resting day. Optional trek to Quesillococha and Siulacocha.
Day 8. Trek Carhuacocha – Punta Carnicero Pass – Huayhuash camp.
